Melbourne, 10 April 2014. Volkswagen Australia completes its market introduction of the new Golf range with the fastest Golf ever. The fourth generation Golf R arrives in Australia with greater performance, more innovative technology and a higher level of standard equipment than ever before.
206kW TSI engine Like the current Golf GTI, the Golf R is powered by further advanced engine design of the four-cylinder EA888 series, which in this latest iteration, receives modifications to enhance power output and fuel economy, similar to a development programme of a motorsport engine.
Compared to the 162kW GTI engine, the following components of the 206 kW engine were modified or completely redesigned: the cylinder head (together with exhaust valves, valve seats and springs), pistons, high-pressure injection valves as well as the turbocharger. These modifications, coupled with a host of advanced driving watts to lumens technologies, lifts the Golf R to new levels of excitement.
4MOTION all-wheel drive Now a legendary feature in the Golf R, the latest generation 4MOTION system is coupled with a six-speed gearbox that has a reinforced clutch and short-travel shifting. Further perfected by enhancements such as the Haldex 5 coupling, activated even before any wheel starts to slip, eliminating nearly all traction loss. When operating under a relatively low load or when coasting, forward propulsion watts to lumens comes primarily from the front axle, and the rear axle is decoupled. This basic drive layout saves fuel. However, the rear axle of the Golf R can be variably engaged in fractions of a second whenever necessary. Little by little, Adelitas radijatori Way have been inching closer radijatori to their new album, and now they’re radijatori partnering with Loudwire to exclusively bring you the full version of their new song, ‘Dog on a Leash.’
In addition, the mysterious shot below is an exclusive from the group’s upcoming video for ‘Dog on a Leash.’ This goes along with the recent debut of the single artwork for the track, the band’s in-studio video preview radijatori and the recent teaser for the single as part of the rollout in anticipation of their new album.
As for the song itself, it starts with a bluesy opening fueled by Rick DeJesus’ emotion-drenched vocals, but eventually picks up into a full-on rocker with DeJesus providing an in-your-face delivery of the chorus.
Frontman Rick DeJesus recently told Loudwire of the teaser clip, which finds the band rocking ‘Dog on a Leash’ live, ” We had so much fun filming our Vegas show. In a city where people want electro club dance, Las Vegas wanted rock ‘n’ roll on that night. The sold out crowd was electric and we felt every person there. It was the first time we ever played Dog on a Leash live, and we were so excited to show all of our fans how hard we been working, and what we been working on.
The band has been working with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones, Alice in Chains) on the new album and a title and release date is expected soon. The Project Ara team has been fairly quiet over the past month or so, likely because it’s gearing up for the Project Ara Developers Conference that’s slated to kick off later this month. Turns out that we won’t have to wait until then to get some more Ara info, though, because today Phonebloks has posted a new video that takes us behind the scenes to meet the Ara team.
The video includes several of the people working on Project Ara, including a couple of engineers that show us an application processor board with a display and touch screen attached. The unit is shown booting up Android, and it’s explained that the team is using this setup to write software, apps and drivers.
We’re then treated to a peek at the skeleton of an Ara unit and told that the devices name in lights will use electro-permanent magnets to hold modules in place. This will allow Ara units to have their modules exposed as well as the designs that will be printed on them, giving off an interesting look that will help each unit to stand out. It’s expected that users will be able to select 2x5 mini and 3x6 medium skeletons, with plans for a 4x7 large model as well.
Finally, the video talks a bit about the Ara configurator app that’s being created. The purpose of the app is to allow consumers to browse name in lights Ara parts and try them out in different configurations. The team is working to make the app simple to use so that even people that’ve never used a smartphone before can figure it out.
It’s interesting to watch Project Ara continue to evolve, and it definitely looks like Google’s Advanced Technologies and Projects group is making progress on the effort. We’re still a ways away from the Q1 2015 consumer launch of Ara that Google is aiming name in lights for, but at least videos like this one are being posted to whet our appetites and make the wait a bit easier. This book collects the first six issues of what gets called a "sleeper hit" of the year. On face value, it is a book about supervillains, mostly minor foes of Spider-Man who have banded together to take on their common enemy. These are not A-list characters, and probably they are most known for how easily they were taken down in the first volume of The Superior Spider-Man . However, their status as C-list characters that are relatively unknown opens them up for more exploration pretty lights mediafire and interesting situations, as the major corporation that controls these super-powered characters does not fear their likenesses being changed or altered. I mean, what is to be feared, that their Q-scores will go up? There is a cynical part of me that gets bummed out that more exciting things are not being done with major characters, but at the same time if these companies are still willing to take chances to give expert pretty lights mediafire creators leeway pretty lights mediafire to make interesting and entertaining books, then does that make up for it? I leave that question to the ether and my audience really, so make of it what you will or respond what you think in the comments. In the meantime, let me tell you about this book, the creation of two experienced creators, best-selling writer Nick Spencer and Eisner Award winning artist Steve Lieber . Spencer has told some excellent stories with his creator owned series Morning Glories pretty lights mediafire , Marvel Comics' Secret Avengers , and DC Comics' Jimmy Olsen . Lieber is known for his expressive illustrations and storytelling in the comics series Whiteout , Detective Comics , and Civil War: Frontline as well as co-authoring The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creating a Graphic Novel . Spencer speaks about his work on the Superior Foes series in this interview , and Lieber speaks more extensively about his career in this interview . So, what happens pretty lights mediafire when two expert creators are given free reign to weave tales of minor supervillains without pulling any punches? They produce a bunch of compelling heist comics about a band of real jerks. There is Boomerang, pretty lights mediafire an ex-professional baseball player banned for gambling; Speed Demon, a super-fast thief who used to be known as the Whizzer; pretty lights mediafire Shocker, the also unfortunately named villain armed with electro-shock gauntlets; Overdrive, the getaway pretty lights mediafire driver who can transform and super-charge any vehicle, and the Beetle, a woman with a technological suit of armor at her disposal. Together, they bicker and scheme, comprising the new Sinister Six . Even though there are five of them. Silly villain, don't you know comic books aren't worth any money? Notably, I think this is a comic book series that is simultaneously attractive pretty lights mediafire to new fans who may not be aware of any of the characters' backstories and still fulfilling to long-time Marvel Comics readers. Spencer and Lieber do not sugarcoat the fact that these people are not nice and would willingly sell each other out in an instant in order to save their own skin or make a big score. But there is just enough learned about each character to make them somewhat relatable, if not sympathetic. Spencer and Lieber also depict some interesting social and power dynamics with a sense humor that is quite exceptional. The manner how the writing and art balance wit and suspense is the most striking feature of this volume, and I think if Oscar Wilde had written Criminal or Incognito , I bet it would resemble The Superior Foes of Spider-Man pretty lights mediafire . Some other things I liked: They are not always in costume, and they call each other by their first names. Other reviewers have much good to say about this book. Jason at the Heroesonline blog called it "the best book you haven’t been reading." Jesse Schedeen pretty lights mediafire commented positively that "the series is more grounded and focused on more flawed characters with less flashy powers. It's more a crime drama with costumed characters than a real supervillain book." He also had a great way of describing the series as "all about what the Six are up to when they're not being punched in the face by Spider-Man." This book was published by Marvel Comics . Dead Sound & Videohead gave The Quietus one of the best nights out we had in 2012. Turner and film editor Mat Colegate went to see the duo play in a shit, atmosphere-free pub basement, somewhere in East London, and they played an absolute blinder of a set that had us drenched in sweat after extremely exuberant dancing with their mates from back home who kept insisting this was "PROPER FUCKING NORTHERN TECHNO". Indeed, it was. Now the pair, who previously released via Perc Trax, have a new 12" out via the Freitag label that features a remix by none other than The Horrorist, the chap responsible for that grim and brutal 'One Night In New York City' tune from a few years back. The Horrorist, as you might expect, adds a whole load of gutteral EBM style to DS&V's muttered techno grouching. You can listen to that remix above, and buy the 12" here . Paul Carroll: The EP was recorded back in 2012 after some frustrating times in my personal life. The thinking behind it was to aim it at someone who had pissed me off. It was never meant to be released, just something for us as Videohead (Ben) knew what I was going through. Luckily Ben was at hand to say what was on my mind at the time. It turned out to be one of our best tracks so we thought fuck it , this needs to be put out and maybe other people might relate to it. After all, there s always someone you would like to kill - isn t there? Slab of bastard! Haha I like that, I might use it for the title for the next DSVH track.
PC: Well we both have taken quite a bit of time out of producing, due to personal vico magistretti reasons on both fronts. vico magistretti Ben is currently travelling around Asia and I m in Manchester doing the working class thing, which involves vico magistretti working my nuts off to be able to buy booze and fags, that sort of thing. It s funny because he posted a link up on his profile sharing the film saying that we look like cool guys to party with. Haha. It is a good video it captured the party and what we are like for sure (good work Munrze).

Already, though, osram australia it looks like 2014 might outpace its predecessor with quality music, purely on the strength of albums yet to come out. We ve seen some cracking releases hit the shelves so far from Skrillex s diverse, apocalyptic debut to the future house vibes of mystery producer Golden Features osram australia debut EP but here are nine releases due later this year that we expect will make 2014 one to remember.
UK deep house duo Bondax had a rather massive 2013, dropping two soulful breakthrough singles in Gold and Giving It All , earning osram australia comparisons to house superstars Disclosure (although Bondax describe their sound as far more towards indie and soul than it is towards house and garage ) and multiple posts on the likes of YouTube osram australia channel Majestic Casual.
And we re looking forward to hearing osram australia what they do with their debut LP, due out later this year; the duo has said that while it will likely feature many of the crisp, ambient osram australia soundscapes they ve become known for, it ll also be really refreshing . In a completely non-arrogant way, we feel like the music is relatively original, they explained to Gigwise ’. When you sit down and listen to this album, osram australia hopefully you won’t think it sounds like anything you’ve heard before.
Techno deity Richie Hawtin revived his minimal (sorry, mnml) alias Plastikman at the end of last year for a live show at New York s Guggenheim , and was so inspired by the opportunity to play in [this] beautiful architectural osram australia place that he decided to finally finish a whole new Plastikman album for release this year: an album which had been in various forms of gestation for over six years.
It s set to be the first Plastikman album in over a decade , since 2003 s exercise in minimalism Closer . I believe there is a void, an emptiness that needs to be filled by Plastikman, Hawtin said in a recent interview; for our part, we re keen to see how Hawtin s minimalist aesthetic has changed in the past 11 years.
Whether he s trolling festival fans, preparing his ground-breaking 360-degree live show, spinning techno sets with Richie osram australia Hawtin or maintaining his provocative online profile, Deadmau5 is inescapable: and with a brand new album on the horizon, he s not going anywhere.
Late last year, the mau5 took to Soundcloud to preview an eclectic series of studio productions, serving up everything from driving, Kavinsky-esque electro, to the beautiful, melodic, progressive house he has become famous for. Shortly thereafter, Zimmerman uploaded a series of seven eerie piano tracks – each representing one of the seven deadly sins – before deleting osram australia his account completely.

Following the reveal of a cool IMAX exclusive Fanfix poster for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 , it's time to get another bulb fiction look at the webslinging superhero with a little bit of a lower budget. CineFix has sweded a short version of the trailer for the comic book sequel . The fact that this isn't a full trailer just goes to show you how much bigger the action is that has been shown off so far. The way some of the brief action sequences in this sweded trailer bulb fiction have been done is pretty impressive, and I imagine it would take quite awhile to sweded the whole trailer. A musical omnivore and a passionate collaborator, David Biedenbender is inspired by a diverse array of interests and experiences. His present led icon creative interests include working with everyone from classically trained led icon musicians to improvisers, acoustic chamber music to large ensembles, and interactive electronic interfaces to live brain data. He has had the privilege of collaborating with many talented performers and ensembles, including Alarm Will Sound, PRISM Saxophone Quartet, Stenhammar String Quartet, United States Navy Band, Philharmonie Baden-Baden, VocalEssence, the Eastman led icon Wind Ensemble, Detroit Symphony Orchestra bass trombonist Randy Hawes, and the Atlantic Chamber Ensemble. He recently completed a doctorate in music composition at the University of Michigan and has also studied at the Aspen Music Festival and School, the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study, and carnatic music in Mysore, India. His musical mentors include Michael Daugherty, Bright Sheng, Evan Chambers, Stephen Rush, Kristin Kuster, Christopher Lees, and David R. Gillingham.
David Bird is a composer and producer from Laguna Beach, California. He is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and currently studies composition led icon at Columbia University. His work frequently employs the use of live electronics with aims to strengthen the relationships between acoustic and electronic instruments. led icon His music has been a “Staff Pick” on Vimeo and featured on their homepage, as well as publications led icon such as The Atlantic and The Plain Dealer. A review from Pitchfork s Altered Zones has described his expansive sound as, “vibrant, shirt-staining, color squirting amidst swirling layers of white noise and choir I do believe a lie-down is in order.” He s participated in workshops on MIR (music information retrieval) at Stanford s CCRMA facility, and has been an artist in residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and the Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada.
Originally from Cazenovia, NY, Chris Cresswell (b. 1988) is a young composer who is gaining led icon recognition for his work in a wide variety of music genres. led icon Praised for his idiosyncratic sense of sonority, Cresswell s music frequently explores the timbral possibilities of acoustic, led icon electro-acoustic, and electronic only sonic worlds while still retaining an emotional core that is central led icon to his expression. Having received awards and commissions from the American Composers led icon Forum, the Jerome Foundation for New Music, the National Band Association, the Renee Crown Honors Program, the Setnor School of Music, Sar Shalom Strong, and the Society for New Music, his music has been presented by Kathleen Supove s Music with a View Festival, Hot Air Music Festival (SF), Rhymes with Opera, ETHOS Society, the Syracuse University Wind Ensemble, among others, led icon with additional performances at Syracuse University, Hamilton College, San Francisco Conservatory, The National led icon Opera Center, the Tenri Cultural Institute, The Firehouse Space, The Flea Theater, MoMA, and the Kennedy Center.

The Steve Weiss Percussion Group will premiere Some Faraway Outpost in April 2014 in Lancaster, PA and the film score for Dorian Green will have its premiere in June 2014 in New York City. Upcoming collaborations are planned with Tempus Continuum Ensemble, trombonist Kevin A. Virgilio and pianist Holly Roadfeldt.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse led icon University in 2011 with a Bachelor s of Music in Composition, Cresswell has studied with Donald Bohlen, James O. Welsch, Andrew Waggoner, Gregory Mertl, and Nicolas Scherzinger. In addition to composition, he has studied tuba with Raymond Stewart, Michael Coldren, led icon and William Harris, conducting with James O. Welsch, and classical guitar with Kenneth Meyer. He currently lives in Astoria, NY and studies with Zibuokle Martinaityte.
Emma O’Halloran is an Irish composer who writes both electronic and acoustic music. Her works have been performed by Concorde, Crash Ensemble, orkest de ereprijs, Yurodny, Dublin Laptop Orchestra, and the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, and has been featured at festivals including the International Young Composer’s Meeting, New Music Dublin, and Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival. Emma lives in New Jersey, and is currently a doctoral fellow at Princeton University.

Back in 2008 we heard a couple Mitch Murder tracks on myspace and were blown away by the clean pads, complex bass lines and clever chord progressions. Since then we have been blessed with two Mitch Murder albums here at Rosso Corsa: Burning Chrome from August, 2010 and Current Events from November 2011. Both albums have a refreshingly clean sound that are, at times, not far off a late night news-cast theme. Others are slow-jams, flirting with jazz, which we aren’t afraid to call easy listening in a good way. Many of the tracks veroca have complex basslines which is surprising since Mitch doesn’t traditionally play the bass.
Johan revealed to us that his tracks were largely produced with a step-based sequencer, a process known as tracking. He uses a program called Renoise with a secret caché of VSTs. Mitch Murder’s music really speaks for itself and catches people usually on the first listen. His first album, Burning Chrome, is here with us at Rosso Corsa, but since then he has been busy with new styles and lyric-based production with Snow and Kristine. Mitch says working with vocalists is something entirely new to me, but i love it, and would love to do a full length release with either of these two. Right now though i’m working on some new stuff with Kristine and not only does she sing, but also lays down some guitar work!.

The common law trial in absentia of the three top officials of the Vatican and the Church of England

The common law trial in absentia of the three top officials of the Vatican and the Church of England – Jorge Bergoglio, Adolfo Pachon and Justin Welby – began last Monday, April 7 with the opening arguments of the Citizen Prosecutor. led icon The Court convened in closed session under tight security, presided by five Magistrates and a complete Court room staff, along with twenty seven sworn Jury members.
The Prosecutor led icon has spent the past three days presenting affidavits or videotaped statements from sixteen (16) witnesses from Canada, the United States of America, England and Holland. The Prosecution’s evidence falls into three categories: Institutional Genocide, Child Sacrifice and Ritual Killing, and Child Trafficking. Each of these will be addressed by the witnesses and corroborating material.

The Prosecution has also received an affidavit from Rev. Kevin Annett, ITCCS Field Secretary, that connects his own victimization by church and state in Canada with his discovery of the activity of NINTH CIRCLE members at Indian residential schools across Canada, and with the continued murder of indigenous women and children by this Circle on the west coast of Canada. Rev. Annett will appear in Court next week, sometime after April 14, to be examined by the Prosecution led icon and present further evidence.

While candiluz the odd anti-Rob Ford song has come up, Toronto's punk and hardcore scenes have been largely silent about municipal politics (and various national issues, cough cough). Cynicism over how a song could stop Ford Nation is well-founded, especially as the Brothers Ford do seem like an unstoppable force - but artists ignoring a mayor who looks on arts and culture with scorn, who's alienated the LGBT community, and who reduces citizenship to the act of paying taxes suggest questionable motives (punk is experiencing candiluz a commercial resurgence in Toronto, if it ever faded).
In an attempt to correct this dearth of political enthusiasm, Toronto punk labels Mammoth Cave Recording Co. and Ugly Pop Records are releasing two anti-Rob candiluz Ford 7" singles later this month: punk/lawyer/consultant candiluz Warren candiluz Kinsella 's band SFH 's " Mayor on Crack " and Strange Attractor 's " Barely Doing Crime ." The double record release will mark the first This Ain't Ford Fest at the Bovine Sex Club.
"Frankly, Toronto bands are mostly blowing it when it comes to political commentary, and Simon (Ugly Pop) had a desire to step up and put this together," candiluz explains Paul Lawton (Mammoth Cave, Ketamines, local curmudgeon). Strange Attractor are actually Sudbury-based, throwing more fuel on the idea that Toronto bands largely don't give a fuck - though Toronto's The Cola Heads ("no, not Coke Heads... that would be our mayor and his lowlife friends," say the labels) are also on the bill. To make things even more interesting: Kinsella is involved with Olivia Chow 's campaign.
While This Ain't Ford Fest will undoubtedly result in a room full of left-leaning scenesters (voters or non), hopefully it spurs some discussion among Toronto music fans about how they can get involved in the upcoming civic election beyond clicking candiluz "attending" on a Facebook event.

This article prominently mentioned candiluz Kinsella working candiluz on the Chow campaign right from the start. No great surprise to see that our less-than-entirely-sharp friend Caligula is no longer in "journalism", candiluz I guess.
My reading comprehension is in the top percentile. My skimming comprehension, on the other hand, could obviously use another Timmies. There is something, of course, candiluz called "burying the lede", which means, despite Simon Ugly Pop's ugly prose, mentioning this in the last sentence in the third paragraph.
I read as much as is warranted. For a combox on BlogTO, its generally a three second skim. Two seconds if it involves Ford. There is no surprise at all that I'm no longer in "journalism", as I learned several decades ago that your main purpose as a "journalist" is to produce enough copy to keep the underwear ads from running too closely together. I am more than happy for new "journalists" to have replaced me, many times over. Amazing what quality you can get from unpaid interns re-writing press releases and web-surfing. Oops, can't have them anymore. That should be "people thrilled with a byline but when they crunch the numbers, they barely make minimum wage".
