Singing the praises of Daffodils | Dorcas
At the end of November, plannais daffodil bulbs. I'm a big gardener, but my hope is that they will create beautiful flowers in the spring that will give a lot of pleasure to me and put a smile on my face.
Last spring, I had bought snoc lighting 6 pots of daffodils and those have blaguro'n fully to light some of our backyard scruffy enough. After they finish blooming, I stayed to the leaves wither before lifting bulbs into storage for the Autumn. Surprisingly to me, many of these bulbs have propagated and other small bulbs attached to them. I drew the 'little ones' off bulb 'mother' and left in the Greenhouse until it was time to re-plant snoc lighting again.
On the day of re-planting, I wondered again as was the original bulbs had multiplied to such an extent that I have nearly double the original amount. It struck me that all of this fit in perfectly with the growth of Christian. snoc lighting
There are times in our life when we are 'blooming' in knowing and feeling that maybe God is near; our hearts with joy and happy; God's Word and prayer snoc lighting will bless us when we know that we live in obedience -come and obedience. The 'flower' is evident for all to see for the glory of God.
Personally, I know at times very different snoc lighting to that. Times when reading the Bible and engage in prayer a chore, when I have doubt and questioning and feeling unhappy with my circumstances. During these periods, I'm not a lush or beautiful - like the bulbs in the Greenhouse and withered leaves and no signs of life at all belong. But surprisingly when the bulbs sit lethargic in our Greenhouse, the potential for transformation remains within them. They were not dead at all - just like waiting for the right time to start growing. There was something amazing place with these bulbs - new life is being created. snoc lighting When I returned on the bulbs, snoc lighting the first signs of life this is beginning to look like small shoots.
The spirit of God is always at work and children are at the heart of its conception its fruit. During those times when we feel 'sluggish' and banging live, the Holy Spirit is still at work in our transformation and causes the fruit to multiply in our lives.
In Philippians 1:1-11 Paul's prayer for the saints recorded in Phillippi. The Christians in the eyes of this very dear Paul, and in praising God for always, it is praying hard they grow in their love, their knowledge, insights and purdeb.Mae've offered the prayer this for them:
So, in the same way as one that my daffodils are beautiful snoc lighting when they bloom in the spring causing me to praise God, the Creator of such beauty, our lives will be fruitful as we bring glory and praise to God.
Without that time in the Greenhouse, and they seem to die during the days 'dark' Autumn and Winter, these beautiful flowers would not emerge at all. But the amazing growth process will continue in secret. And so God is still at work in our hearts, snoc lighting but we can all be certain that the fruit will appear - for the glory and praise him!
Prayer Consider what 'season' that reigns snoc lighting in your life at the moment? A period snoc lighting of growth and prosperity obvious? A period of 'sleep' and 'stagnation'? Somewhere between Summer and Winter? Talk to God in doing this, because honestly if you feel lifeless, stagnant or infertile. Take time to remember what Jesus did on Calvary for you, remember what God has done in your life and thank him, despite how you feel right now. Thank God for planting his Spirit in you and the work of the Spirit in your life, whatever the 'season.'
Praise Why not go for a walk by praising God for the beauty that can be seen in Creation? View images - people and places - and praise God for the wonder of each person / place individual and the blessing you received from each of them.
