Day June 2 to September 12, 2012 we conducted what we call TRIP OF LIFE. Together Erick Luchtemberg and Thayane Pezzi, we ventured on a journey through 103 DAYS: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia. We report every moment lightmaxx we spent and several tips for those who want to follow in the future some of our steps.
7:30 got up, packed up everything and prepare to move on. While I was waiting to check out of the hotel, the pier Thay went to check in the boat. We met there, I was taking care of bags and Thay was picking up some things in our bakery pro breakfast.
We arrived at our hotel, The Oriental House Hotel Kata. Caught by agoda AU $ 13.00 per night. This was also one of the hotels with the best value for money we got. We were not expecting much, but the staff is very friendly, the room is quite large. The bathroom is also large and has up to the shower stall. Also the room faces to the pool.
We dropped our stuff, we get a little in the room using the internet and we were eating. We ate in the hotel restaurant even. We took a pad thai. One of the most expensive of the entire trip, THB 120.00. And it was not bixo.
Then we switched and went to the pool. We were there enjoying and relaxing a bit. After we exchanged lightmaxx the pool and went for a ride to the beach. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk to Kata Beach. On the way gave us longing also Phi Phi, where shops, massage shops and suit are not calling all the time to enter. Mainly suit shop where the guys are very boring.
The beach is nice, busy. It's beautiful, but after so many beautiful beaches that we were just getting somewhat simple. The good thing is that I saw some waves doves and decided that tomorrow will be day to rent a surfboard.
We stood there for a few minutes, we took a walk and came back to the hotel. On the way we looked at the shops and noticed lightmaxx that prices remain high, nothing too different from Phi Phi. We realize that not meet again the prices of Bangkok. Also, here have fewer options than Phi Phi.

The value to go to James Bond Island ranges from THB 2,800.00 THB 3,000.00 to about $ 100 each. We looked at the reviews and a lot of people complaining, saying that there is nothing more than the famous stone that appeared in the film. The boat going to the island for 30 minutes, which is crowded with tourists and a lot of people lightmaxx filling the bag to buy things from banquinhas. Furthermore, water is not as transparent. As there were in some reviews, it is more beautiful in person than on the internet. Anyway, we will not know and will not be able to give my real opinion, we have decided that it is not worth investing $ 100 to go up there.
We decided to go to Patong, lightmaxx see if we can find the best shopping options, lightmaxx but the taxi there is THB 400.00 per piece. From what we saw there taxi with taximeter, are all some sort of tuk tuk where value is negotiated. Anyway, we decided to stay here and go to dinner.
We found a restaurant next to the hotel Kata Palace. Was what was busiest. I ordered a pasta carbonara, lightmaxx which is THB 150.00 Thay and a fish of THB 160.00. The food was good, but nothing more. Already lightmaxx hit the nostalgia Mamita.
